Terminator Genisys Movie Reviews

If you've seen the previous Terminator movies, all of which I absolutely loved, I think you'll be very disappointed with this unoriginal and derivative addition to the series. I certainly was! I felt like I was watching a pastiche of outtakes from the previous movies - only the faces had changed. I also thought that the storyline tried to be too clever by half and in the process failed completely. Maybe if I hadn't seen the same techniques used in the previous movies in the series, it might have been more interesting.

The only bit of original humour was Arnie's "smile" - but even that joke was repeated several times - in case we had missed it the first time??? The special effects and sound effects were OK but again, not very original.

All in all, a huge disappointment for me.
